Do you believe in fairies? Join Tinker Bell´s sisters on a magical adventure. Inspired by Tinker Bell from the book Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie. Before Tinker Bell flew to Never Land and met Peter Pan, she lived on Sheepskerry Island with her fairy sisters - Clara, Lily, Rosie, Silver, and Squeak, the baby. The young fairies go to fairy school and love tea parties, dressing up, and exciting adventures. Lily´s dressing-up dreams have come true - she´s going to Queen Titania´s annual fancy-dress competition. She´s always dreamed of meeting the fashionable town fairies on the mainland, and now´s her chance! But not everywhere is like Sheepskerry Island, and some fairies are less friendly than others. Without her Fairy Bell sisters to help her, Lily´s adventure spells trouble. How can she turn a dressing-up disaster into a prize-winning success? Young listeners will love the enchanting stories in this charming new series. 1. Language: English. Narrator: Jane Collingwood. Mariano Fortuny

Mariano Fortuny was a visionary designer and artist - best known today for his rich, innovative textiles and opulent dress designs, he was also an accomplished painter, etcher and photographer, as well as a designer of theatrical sets, costumes and lighting, revolutionising the stagecraft of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries with his ambitious lighting designs. Fortuny´s varied and sumptuous output has acquired almost mythological status in the canon of early twentieth-century Aestheticism. Guillermo de Osma sets out to provide a complete and authoritative account of his life and work.Born in 1871, into a famous family of artists, critics, architects and craftsmen, Fortuny benefitted from an eclectic artistic education, and inherited his father´s passion for collecting, as well as his interest in the art and artefacts of the Arabic world. He supplemented this early immersion in the art world with his own ´Grand Tour´ of Europe´s cultural centres, including Paris and Bayreuth, where he was introduced to the work of composer Richard Wagner. Fortuny eventually settled in Venice and, from his studio in the Palazzo Orfei, began to create work in the burgeoning tradition of Aestheticism, rejecting the hierarchies and barriers between the arts and creating 2D artwork as well as furniture, textiles and stage designs for pioneering opera and ballet productions. The ´Delphos robe´ is perhaps the quintessential Fortuny creation - a dress as work of art, with its origins in progressive theatrical costume design, that went on to be worn by avant-garde figures including Isadora Duncan and was even immortalized by Proust in ´Remembrance of Things Past´. Hand-dyed and pleated to a patented design, this figure-skimming robe was considered shocking on its first appearance in 1907 but examples still appear on red carpets today. Bringing together craftsmanship, liberal principles of ´rational dress´ and a deep immersion in the dress traditions of the Arabic and Classical worlds, it is an iconic garment that transcends fashion.

Not his sexy older sister, and not his ex-girlfriend. When one man has to satisfy three horny bimbos, anything can happen! And does! ~~~~~ PG Excerpt ~~~~~ He cleared his throat nervously. ´´How are you feeling, Mom?´´ She turned to him, her movements graceful and easy, and smiled. Something was missing, he thought. Some internal barrier which she used to guard herself. ´´Just fine, honey,´´ she said. ´´I'm really horny, though.´´ He blinked. ´´What?´´ ´´I'm horny,´´ she repeated, with amazing simplicity.´´I haven't had good sex in ages. Not since before your father left.´´ Her expression clouded in sudden anger. ´´Bastard. Stupid, selfish, needle-dicked little weasel. He said he couldn't get it up for me. That I intimidated him.´´ She threw one of his dress shirts into the washer in a gesture of fury that was as frightening as it was sudden. ´´But it was just fine for him to sleep with every two-bit whore in town, wasn't it?´´ He stared. He knew that his parents' marriage hadn't been a happy one. But the raw, visceral rage behind his mother's calm mask was shocking. ´´I mean, look at me,´´ Veronica continued. She set her hands on her hips. ´´Don't I look good?´´ ´´Of course you do, Mom,´´ he stammered, hoping to calm her down. ´´And I hate these clothes,´´ she said, changing subjects abruptly. She fingered her sweatshirt disdainfully. ´´They're just like the ones I wear to work. Too heavy. Too long. But I have to look pro-fesh-shun-ul,´´ she sneered.. Her eyes lit. ´´I know what I'll do! I'm going to put on different clothes! Fun ones!´´ She stabbed a finger at him. ´´Wait here!´´ His mother was down quicker than he would have guessed, but dressed in an outfit that made his eyes widen. Gone were the heavy jeans and the confining sweatshirt, the grubby old sneakers and the sensible white socks. Instead, she wore something out of a teenage boy's fantasy. A pair of skintight denim shorts clung to the curves of her hips and rear, ending in a scattering of white threads which drew attention to her slender thighs. And instead of the heavy sweatshirt, worn and faded from innumerable washings, now she wore a button-down shirt, the tails knotted just below her breasts, the neckline open all the way to her cleavage. ´´Do you like it?´´ she asked artlessly, her eyes pleading for his approval. “It’s very…nice;” he said, trying to be tactful. “But don’t you think you’re going to get chilly?” “Oh; that’s okay;’ she responded cheerfully. “We’ll just turn the heat up!” She bounced across the room to the thermostat and stabbed at one of the buttons. In seconds warm air began to pour up from the heating vents in the floorboards. “Much better;” she nodded. She spun back to him. “So; Max, what do you think? Am I attractive? Your dad didn’t think so. I tried wearing clothes like this to turn him on, after you and Linda went to bed.” Her eyes pooled with sudden tears. “I dressed like a whore for him. But nothing worked.” Tears trickled down her cheeks and instinctively, Max reached for her. “It’s okay;’ he said quietly, taking her in his arms. “He’s gone. You’ve got me and Linda. We love you, Mom.” “Do you?” she sniffled. “Do you really love me, Max?”

Halloween is also the eve of the Druidic festival of Samhain, a time when the barriers between the natural and supernatural worlds were at their most fragile and when the dead could return and entities from other dimensions could visit the human realm. Many of our Halloween traditions actually come from these much older beliefs - for example, the wearing of masks and disguises on Halloween is a very ancient practice intended to confuse wandering ghosts and spirits. Of course, we laugh at these superstitions now. We know that Halloween is a time for having fun and that there isn’t any such thing as a night that is evil. Or is there? If you listen to the stories in this audiobook, you may begin to wonder. These are all true stories of strange and bad things that have happened at Halloween. So many stories of so many bad things that you may start to wonder whether perhaps there is something different about Halloween. Something dark. Perhaps even something evil.... You won’t find any stories of ghosts, spirits, or the supernatural here. These are stories of real people and the strange and wicked things that they do on or around October 31. Listen if you dare, and discover a feast of murder, untimely death, and mysterious disappearance linked by just one thing: Halloween. Here is a preview of what´s inside.... ´´Trick or Treat or Die´´ ´´Framed for a Halloween Murder´´ ´´Pocahontas is Missing´´ ´´The Pastor of Death´´ ´´Death Came in Fancy Dress´´ ´´The Great Cornell Pumpkin Prank´´ Much, much more! 1.
